2015 Sierra County Fair
The county fair is a community event and free for all to attend. Along with the livestock shows, there will be food and sales vendors set up throughout the weekend. There will also be indoor exhibits and school projects on display. Check out the 2015 Sierra County fair book for more details on events and contest rules:
Sierra County has a population of 13,270 and a median income of $20,724.
Sierra recognizes tourism as a proponent of many economic opportunities.
The county has two major lakes, Caballo and Elephant Butte, along with Percha Dam, which draw over one million visitors per year.
